Want something like this for your business?
Most of my work lives behind someone else's firewall or inside someone else's product. You can't click around a client's internal tools, so I built something you can: this site, and Key. It's a small, real look at how I work with AI and what we could build together.
How I built it, the same way I'd build for a client
- 01
Start with the problem, not the model
People deciding whether to hire me need fast, honest answers about my work. That's the job Key does, so every decision started there.
- 02
Ground it in real content
Key answers from a knowledge base I wrote and reviewed. It's a separate public copy of my notes with every client number and internal detail removed, so she can't leak what isn't there.
- 03
Fence it in, then test it hard
Rules for what she won't say and how she sounds, then hours of interviews: real job descriptions, trick questions, and attempts to break her. I flagged every miss, recorded a review session and fed the transcript back in, had ChatGPT critique her answers, and brought in a trusted colleague for a round.
- 04
Wire it into a real workflow
Every question is logged to a Google Sheet so I can see what people actually ask. When someone writes, they get an instant confirmation, and I get their message with the conversation attached, plus a reply Claude has drafted in my voice. I edit it and send it myself. Before every booked call, a one-page brief lands in my inbox.
The tools
The site and Key
- Claude for planning, writing, testing, and building the site with me.
- The Claude API powers Key's answers, with the knowledge base cached so she stays fast and inexpensive. It also drafts my follow-ups and call briefs.
- Google Docs holds the knowledge base and every word of site copy, so edits happen in one place.
- GitHub keeps the code and its history. Netlify hosts the site and runs Key on the server, so her knowledge base never reaches your browser.
- Google Sheets and Apps Script log every question, email me every message, send visitors a confirmation, and pull call briefs together from my calendar. No paid form service needed.
- Calendly handles booking.
- Zoom and ChatGPT for testing: a recorded review session and a second opinion on Key's answers.
Key's intro video
Made with the same pipeline I use for client explainer videos:
- Claude to write and tighten the script.
- ElevenLabs for Key's voice.
- Claude Code and Remotion to build the animation in code, so every scene reuses the same components and brand rules.
Because the video is code, updating it is an edit, not a reshoot.
What we could build together
A support assistant
Grounded in your help docs, with clear rules for when to hand a customer to a person.
An onboarding assistant
Gets new hires answers about your products and processes in days, not weeks.
A few clicks instead of a slow task
I've turned a 14 to 30 minute, error-prone manual task into a few clicks for a client's customer service team.
A lead qualifier
Answers prospects' first questions and sends your sales team the ones worth a call, with the conversation attached.
